Some have modified Lage kits to work with an M11. Every few years I get it out and tinker with it and then get pissed off and throw it back in a box. I cherish the memory of the day it ran three mags without a hiccup. I bought one years ago directly from Fleming. While in concept it should work, the assembly on these was shoddy and most didn't work. No one has offered an adapter for the M11 except Fleming and it is garbage. Bazooka Bros, was selling an AM180 adapter but I heard it doesn't run well. I gave around $400 for mine probably a decade ago. I don't know how many are floating around anymore. The kits came with two 20 round mags and they are built like a tank. I'm late to the game and don't have an M16 so I'll offer my opinion on a couple others I do ow.
BERETTA D SPRING WITH 22LR CONVERSION KIT PLUS
The HK 22 conversions do run well but mags are the limiting factor IMO plus the 91/G3's are big and heavy.īased on a sample of one (owned by a friend) the M11/22s aren't what I'd call reliable compared our M16 set ups. Recently decided I needed a barrel with the proper twist rate and bought a RTB barrel & collar assembly, I haven't been able to get this set up to run on a DIAS host when coupled with the Ciener bolt and guide rail. Functions fine in an old SP1 upper and an old barrel chopped to 7.5", both devoid of a gas tube. Mine kit uses the chamber adapter and I modded it with the ball detent and do not run the ABW.

The Ciener M16 kits have run very well for me and a couple friends. I'm late to the party but here's my experience on the subject. Perhaps not compatible but their 5.56 mags are.Įdit the 30 rounders were on sale 1/2 price at their website no more. Just curious if you have tried the beretta ARX160 magazines.īeretta usually makes top notch stuff. I ask because it would be nice to have the option of moving the upper to another receiver without getting into legal issues.
BERETTA D SPRING WITH 22LR CONVERSION KIT FULL
You need the metal weight to run it in full auto, the smith and wesson mags fixed a lot of issues I had and run awesome.ĭo you think the 17" barrel will be as reliable ? The setup has been crazy reliable to the point a few friends have copied it(most with sbr lowers). Out of 800 to 1000 rounds fired we had 1 failure that was ammo related. I was at a MG shoot with some friends last weekend and it somehow was the most reliable MG we had out there. I have this setup with a bcm carbine length handguard so the can sits under it some. Use a better mag adapter to run m&p15-22 mags, a mcfaden loader to make loading even easier and run a can on the end.

Get a cmmg 4.5 inch 22lr barrel, their bolt group, their sear trip and metal weight/forward assist adapter.
